Need for Normalcy: Training for Foster Parents
This training will provide an Introduction to Normalcy, an Overview of Legal Definitions and Guidelines for Normalcy.
The idea of normalcy for young people in foster care has to do with the idea that you should be able to take part in regular childhood activities despite being in foster care. This video tackles the subject of Normalcy when dealing with foster care. What is it? Why is it important? What does normalcy mean to youth currently in foster care?
