What is a Certified Cybersecurity Training Program? Texas Government Code 2054.519 State Certified Cybersecurity Training Programs requires DIR, in consultation with the Texas Cybersecurity Council, to certify at least five cybersecurity training programs for state and local government employees and Section 2054.5191 requires state and local government employees and officials to complete a certified training program. The statute also requires state government contractors to complete a certified training program.
This training will examine the importance of discipline based on the child’s age, developmental level, past experiences, and their current situation and discusses how foster parents own behavior can impact a foster child’s behavior.

This training is for any person authorized to make medical decisions for children in the legal custody of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). This includes foster parents, case managers for child placing agencies, professional staff of emergency shelters, cottage parents, relative and kinship caregivers, and certain DFPS staff and youth medical consenters.
